# Install the ABAP Agent

This section walks you through installing and configuring the SeaLights ABAP Agent 2.1 on your SAP landscape. Complete these pages in the order listed below — later steps (such as creating SAP accounts) depend on authorization profiles generated in an earlier step.

**New, non-backwards-compatible SAP add-on.** ABAP Agent 2.0 ships with a new ABAP add-on that does **not** support earlier ABAP Agent versions (1.x). You must install it on your SAP landscape, and earlier add-on versions are not compatible with the 2.0 agent. See [Install the ABAP add-on](broken://pages/KA26qNyaJ9N3X9bfhQmb).
